Nina Zaretskaya was born in Moscow and currently lives and works in New York. She graduated from Moscow State University with a Ph.D. in Philology and has made a career as a media art curator, TV journalist, video maker, show host, film director and producer.

A recipient of multiple grants and fellowships, a participant in art shows and film festivals all over the world, Ms. Zaretskaya has written and directed numerous TV programs and documentaries. In 2005 – 2006 her film «From Gulag to Glasnost: The Art of Resistance» was screened at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, in conjunction with the exhibition RUSSIA! She was awarded the Pushkin Society in America Medal for an outstanding contribution to the popularization of Russian culture through documentary filmmaking.

Asya Semenovich

Asya Semenovich was born in Tashkent in 1967 and immigrated to the USA in 1992. She currently lives in New York City.

After obtaining her Ph.D. in Mathematics in 1996, she pursued a career in financial technology, working as a senior executive on Wall Street for many years. Following her life-long passion for literature, she decided to leave her full-time position in industry in order to work on her writing. She completed the science fiction novel «Fire of The Dark Triad» in 2019, and is now working on the sequel.

Alexey Shor

Alexey Shor was born in Kiev in 1970, immigrated to Israel in 1991, and now lives primarily in the USA. He holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics, and is an author of a dozen math papers published in some of the best peer reviewed journals.

He started to compose music in 2012. In 2016, he turned to work as a composer full time. His works have been performed at some of the most prestigious concert halls by many internationally acclaimed soloists and ensembles. In 2018, he has been awarded an honorary professorship at the Komitas State Conservatory of Yerevan.

Mr. Shor is the Composer-In-Residence for the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra Academie and the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra.

Yana Semenovich

Yana Semenovich was born in Tajikistan in 1975, in 1979 moved to Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan. Throughout her youth, she received world class training in art and advanced math. After completing her master’s degree in Mathematics, she moved to the USA, and is currently based in New York City and the Washington, D.C. area.

Ms. Semenovich consulted in leadership roles for Fortune 50 organizations in financial services, energy, retail, publishing and manufacturing, and served as a Senior Enterprise Architect and Trusted Strategic Advisor for a U.S. government agency. In 2008, her desire to create art, which she experienced from an early age, resurfaced and in 2012, she gave up her successful business career in technology to pursue her passion for art, full time.

Zoi Florosz

Zoi Florosz, who was born in Hungary in 1970 but has been living in the USA since 1996, is an award-winning filmmaker and a classically trained musical theatre performer.

In addition to producing PBS specials, she has been shooting and editing arthouse music videos, as well as documentaries; working on feature films; coordinating large camera crews on locations worldwide; leading multi-camera studio shoots; and conducting exclusive interviews — she loves working with multimedia art.

As part of her career in musical theatre, Ms. Florosz regularly performs on stages around the world.
